What We Mean by “Bolts”
A bolt is, by strict definition, a threaded fastener designed to be used with a nut or a tapped hole to clamp two or more parts together — distinct from a screw, which typically forms or engages its own thread directly into the material. In practice, “bolts” covers a wide family of head and drive designs, each suited to a different combination of access, torque, load, and appearance requirement.
We manufacture the full range in-house: hex bolts (the default for general assembly), Allen/socket head bolts (for recessed or flush applications), eye bolts (for lifting and rigging), U-bolts and J-bolts (for pipe clamping and anchoring), flange bolts (for integrated washer-face bearing), carriage bolts (for smooth, tamper-resistant exteriors), shoulder bolts (for precision pivot and linkage applications), T-head bolts, foundation bolts, structural bolts, and high-tensile grades.
Every bolt type is available across our full material range — carbon steel, stainless 304/316, alloy steel (A193 B7 and similar), duplex and super duplex, and exotic alloys including Inconel, Monel, and Hastelloy — manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 with full mill test documentation.
One Supplier, Every Bolt Type & Material
Full Material Range
From general-purpose carbon steel through to exotic alloys like Inconel and Monel — the same bolt design available across the full corrosion and strength spectrum.
Every Common Head Type
Hex, Allen, eye, U/J-bolt, flange, carriage, shoulder, T-head, foundation, structural, and high-tensile — sourced from one manufacturer instead of several.
ISO 9001:2015 QC & Documentation
Full mill test certificates, dimensional inspection, and certificate of conformance on every shipment, regardless of bolt type or material.
Custom & Non-Standard Bolts
Special lengths, non-standard threads, and drawing-to-part manufacturing for requirements outside our published catalogue range.
Choosing the Right Bolt Head Type
Once the material is decided, the next real decision is head and drive type — and it’s one buyers often default on rather than choose deliberately. The right head type depends on access, torque requirement, appearance, and whether the fastener needs to resist tampering or rotation during installation. The comparison below is the one we walk through with buyers who aren’t sure which head type actually fits their application.
| Property | Hex Bolt | Allen (Socket) Bolt | Carriage Bolt | Flange Bolt |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drive Type | External hex, wrench/spanner | Internal hex, Allen key | Square shank, no drive (self-locking) | External hex, integrated washer face |
| Best Suited Access | Open, general access | Recessed, flush-mount applications | One-sided access, tamper resistance needed | Where a separate washer would be inconvenient |
| Torque / Load Capacity | High — wide wrench engagement | Moderate-High, compact head | Low-Moderate | High, wide bearing surface reduces surface damage |
| Typical Use | General structural & machinery assembly | Precision assemblies, machine covers | Wood/metal joints, decks, furniture, guardrails | Automotive, machinery, vibration-prone joints |
| Relative Cost | Lowest | Moderate | Low-Moderate | Moderate |
