Custom Fasteners
Manufactured
to Your Drawing

Akbar Fasteners Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai — ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of non-standard fasteners built to your drawing, your sample, or a modified version of our standard catalogue. Because we run our own forging, CNC machining, and thread rolling in-house rather than subcontracting each step, we can take on jobs that don’t fit a mass-production shop’s rigid tooling and minimum-order constraints.

When the Catalogue Doesn’t Fit

What We Mean by “Custom Fasteners”

Custom fastener work covers everything our standard catalogue doesn’t: legacy or obsolete equipment that needs a matching replacement part no longer sold anywhere, a non-standard thread pitch or head/drive combination specified on an old drawing, a special coating or surface finish for a specific chemical exposure, a small prototype batch for R&D before committing to production volume, or simply a standard fastener modified in one dimension to fit a non-standard bore or clearance.

What makes this work possible for us: we run forging, CNC machining, thread rolling, and heat treatment in-house rather than farming each step out to different subcontractors. That means we control the whole process end to end, which is what lets us take on jobs that a shop dependent on fixed external tooling and high minimum-order quantities would have to turn away.

Custom work is available across our full material range — carbon steel, stainless 304/316, alloy steel, duplex and super duplex, and exotic alloys including Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, and Titanium — all manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 with full mill test documentation on request.

Custom Fasteners — Akbar Fasteners
Why Buyers Bring Us Their Hardest Fastener Jobs

Built for Work a Catalogue Shop Can’t Take

Full In-House Manufacturing

Forging, CNC machining, thread rolling, and heat treatment under one roof — no dependency on external tooling shops for a custom run.

Reverse Engineering From a Sample

Send a physical sample of an obsolete or unmarked part — we measure, verify material, and reproduce it to match.

Full Exotic Alloy Access

Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, and Titanium are already core materials we stock and machine — not a special order for us.

No Rigid Minimum Order Quantity

Prototype and small-batch runs are genuinely feasible here, not just technically possible at an uneconomical price.

Three Ways to Bring Us a Custom Job

Drawing vs Sample vs Modified-Standard

Most buyers aren’t sure how to even start a custom fastener conversation, so here’s the honest breakdown of the three real paths in. A full engineering drawing gives us the most certainty and the fastest quote; a physical sample takes longer because we have to measure and verify it first; and a modified-standard request is usually the quickest and cheapest of the three because we’re only changing one dimension on a part we already know how to make. Telling us which of these three you actually have saves a round of back-and-forth before we can quote.
